Just a Paisley funny...

so I changed Paisley's diaper in the corner by her play mat thing.  I got up to throw her diaper away and came back to this...

I thought as a mommy...it was cute and funny.  I guess she was ready to start playing...lol

Christmas @ Home

This year is the first year in a while where we didn't go anywhere.  With Josh in school and his work schedule it was a little difficult (plus we had lots of sickness in our home)...but maybe next year.  Who knows?!  We did go to his families on Christmas Eve and I was able to take the girls to see my family the week before so Christmas was spent with family just not the actual day.  I hope to get to see my brother next year too...would be even nicer to see him if it was sooner then the next set of "Holidays."  Any way...I am in the process of looking for fun traditions to start with our family.  It was a little harder this year with the sickness so our Christmas was very low key and perfect...can't wait till next year though when Paisley will be 1.5 and Adey will be 4.5...it will be crazy fun!

Adey with her stocking...she got a horse and a Leap Pad 2 from Santa

Paisley got sippy cups and feeding stuff and books and this musical vanity from Santa

Josh found some cute clothes for Adey...she is really into horses right now

Paisley got her own laptop from me and Josh

Adey got a fisher price tea pot set and purse thing from Nonni and Grampy

this was most of Adey's pile of fun stuff from barbies to books to workbooks to clothes

Paisley with her horsey and musical ball and violet along with lots and lots of wrapping paper

this is the Barbie Christmas I think Adey was super excited to get...this was from me and Josh

Adey playing with her new toys...

I found this new soft blanket for Paisley...and of course she is all smiles which is how she is most of the time...we love this lil girl!

Adey is putting lipstick on Paisley...and yes they have matching penguin jammies that they got on Christmas eve

Adey is grooming Paisley's hair...they are truly the best of buds!  how did we get so lucky?!

Christmas with the Fullmer's bunch

On Christmas Eve we headed to Josh's parents/Clarissa's house to celebrate the holidays. We ate dinner, visited/relaxed, and opened a few presents.  It was a nice way to spend the holidays just wish Josh wasn't so sick.

Josh's dad's birthday

so I am trying hard-er- at getting cards out for birthdays and holidays (not so great this year but there is always room for improvement right?!  pinterest here I come for more ideas...please)  anyway...Josh's dad celebrated his birthday this past Sunday and so I found this cute card for the girls to make with their feet for him.  Of course found from this website  http://supermomsteph.blogspot.com/2012/03/valentine-picture.html  and then I modified it into this...

I think they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself...however I just wish I had more updated pictures printed (these are from July of 2012...so only like 5 months old...oh well) STILL CUTE

feeding time

I love so much what a GREAT (doesn't even begin to describe) big sissy Adelynn is to Paisley.  I anxiously await for Paisley to be mobile and start talking and to watch this beautiful friendship grow.  I can tell they are going to be more then just sisters...they are going to be best friends.  I am very thankful that we have these two beautiful girls in our lives.  They both bring us so much joy and a day does not pass by where they do not make us laugh, smile, shake our heads, and wonder how we got so lucky...love you both to the moon and beyond Adelynn Paige and Paisley Makae...

Paisley around 5 months...

I know I have gotten quite behind but we were busy around the holidays with family and making memories and I personally didn't get on the computer that much so therefore that is my reason for the lack of blogging but now is a new year and I am gonna try and do better... that's all I can do is try...right?!

Anyway so these are from when Paisley was around 5ish months old and working on holding her head up.  She is still behind being a preemie but she is slowly catching up.  We are so very proud of our little Paisley as she strives to get stronger and doesn't give up (she definitely will last longer on her belly doing tummy way much longer that Adey ever would...lol)

mmmmm....carrots and apples

her little friend...

Paisley fell asleep in her bouncy seat and I just happened to glance over to see what she was snuggling...awwww:

she loves her dolly but at least it isn't shoved in her mouth at this moment like it is most of the time...thanks Nonni for her dolly though

St. Nicholas 2012

On the night of Dec. 5 you put your boot out by the door and hope that St. Nicholas will bring you a small surprise that you get when you awake on Dec. 6.  check this out for a little more detail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Nicholas

we always do a small present... and usually candy but his year we did a small present and an ornament for the girls and josh got a small present and I got a movie and some chocolate to share with Adey

Adey bug checking things out

St. Nicholas knows her pretty well and gave her a my little pony with SPIKE the dragon which she has been wanting to complete all her little pony set and it came with a hot air balloon that makes noises

Paisley poo got a musical/educational noise toy which she seems to enjoy the blinking light...one day soon she will know how to push the buttons and turn the knobs her self

I love this tradition we do with our family...I have done this since I was a little girl and glad Josh likes it so much that we have carried it on...now we can just hope our girls do the same with their own families when they are much MUCH older...lol

Christmas 2012

this year we have gotten/made some new ornaments that I wanted to share:

I made this for us...an 'F' for fullmer and '06' for when our family started

this I made for Josh...he attends the University of Utah...they are called the Utes

we bought these from the Disney Store but were for Adey and Paisley from St. Nicholas this year

I made these...however this is for a tradition we started this year...the letter that girls write each year will be put in the envelopes and for Santa to read when he arrives at our tree (we helped Adey write hers this year and Adey wanted to write Paisleys...)

I bought this one at Shopko

I bought this one at Shopko too..one for each girl...and will write our memories of each Christmas every year in it...they are little notebook ornaments...such a good idea

This last thing isn't an ornament but just a decor I made with the girls.  I want to eventually get a stand for it and find a better place to display it...but for our temp. home it sits in our living room on our end table:

I found this idea on pinterest but changed it up a little to add my character to it
